  • The right candidate will have/be:

    QUALIFICATIONS

    ·· Class 1 or 3 drivers licence with airbrake endorsement and a clean driver’s abstract — required

    ·· previous related experience would be considered — an asset, not required

    ·· the following training would be considered an asset: first aid, confined space, WHMIS — not required

    ·· mechanical inclination is very beneficial to this position

    QUALIFICATIONS

    ·· PACP certification — required

    ·· WRc training — not required, but an asset

    ·· valid drivers licence and a clean driver’s — required

    ·· must be comfortable learning and using software programs

    ·· able to read and interpret maps and civil/site drawings

    ·· able to operate digital camera

    ·· previous related experience would be considered an asset

    ·· not required, but the following training would be considered an asset: first aid, confined space, WHMIS

    ·· mechanical inclination

    ·· the ability to communicate effectively and professionally (in English)

    ·· an understanding that hours of work available may vary between 20-50hrs per week, depending on whether it is slow or peak season and whether the employment is on a part-time or full-time basis (we offer both)

    ·· be ok with occasional out-of-town work

    ·· the ability to always operate in a safe manner and attend all safety meetings

    ·· the ability to work outdoors in all seasons

    ·· the ability to communicate effectively and professionally (in English)

    NOTE:

    Our labourers often work between both CCTV units and hydrovac trucks. We prefer to hire from within and will train in-house for our hydrovac operator and CCTV inspector positions. When we are looking to add to the team, the first place we look is to our labourers.
